Where is the Fourth most expensive place to live on the Planet ? Barbados perhaps? Or Beverly Hills? Nope, they don't even come close. It's actually a tiny little sand dune on the Dorset coast called Sandbanks near Poole Dorset UK, some of the properties can go for £10million + and some people are actually calling it by the name of Britain's Monte Carlo!.

Sandbanks : can be located at the eastern end of the long sandy beach that stretches from Sandbanks. The main attraction however, is the beach itself, Sandbanks Beach known as the best beach in the UK. The beach itself is a very shallow bay. The beach being known as the best beach in England has been awarded the beautiful 'European Blue Flag' again for 2008 for the beaches cleanliness and great water quality. Many tourists flock to the beach yearly and in the summer. The beach is so shallow that you can walk out into the sea almost 200yds safely, the water is fresh and clean and also the sand is of great quality. The beach is also popular for windsurfers and generally all people that like water sports. You can visit the beach in total piece of mind knowing that not only you will have a great time but also you will be visiting one of the safest beaches in Europe! The beach at has the finest qualtiy sands and the water is very shallow. The water is very clean, During the busy months between the 1st May and 30 Sept, you will find Lifeguards on duty and also a First Aid post if required. Beachfront Facilities included at Sandbanks, toilets (with full disabled facilities) , showers, other food and drink bars. Many pasttimes can be had including metal detecting on the beach.

 

How to get to Sandbanks.. From Poole take the B3369 Sandbanks Road around Poole Harbour. This becomes Shore Road. From Bournemouth take the A35 road to the Fitzharris roundabout at Westbourne, and then The Avenue (B6035) past Branksome Chine and through Canford Cliffs to Sandbanks. It will come of no suprise that there an abundance of Hotels and general accommodation.

Hello all, I happened to get locked out of my house a few days ago and to add insult to injury I completely lost my keys
I decided to search the net to find a Locksmith and found a company called KeyWise.

I rang the guy who come out in no time at all who replaced the lock and gave me 2 spare sets of keys all in the price

Hello all, James May`s father lost his wedding ring while they were having a family trip to Sandbanks in the 1970`s.
Filmed by BBC2 as part of James May's Man Lab program and aired got aired on the April 18th 2013.
The producers realized the chances of finding the ring was almost impossible but wanted to have a bit of fun filming it anyway, many metal detecting enthusiasts took part in the show to help find the ring.

I find it amazing the amount of estate agents who in the press claim to be on Sandbanks.
A trip round and we only found one estate agent Tailor Made opposite the main beach car park. I came down with my friend who having seen the press about Sandbanks decided it was worth a visit. Spent a great day on the beach and next day a wow factor walk along shell bay. Anyway my friend decided...

This time of year whether the weather is fine its does tend to fill up very fast :(
A few months ago when I visited around the 11am time I had difficulty parking :-O
As you are a disabled badge holder its very difficult to answer the question.
Good luck anyway and enjoy Britains best beach B-)
