Ivo the Clown
01202 473752
Ivo has won a few awards over the years and a lot of praise from local community associations for his work in the charity fundraising area. Christchurch Council in particular asks for his professional help in entertainment for many of their events each year.
Trusted by locals and holidaymakers alike, he is seen by many as the 'face of Christchurch fun' and we are happy to be welcoming him once again to Christchurch Regatta and Carnival week in 2007.
Seen along the carnival route and also during the following weekend, he will be entertaining the children and keeping them in order during our kiddies sports events and fancy dress parade.
Kaleidoscope Dancers
01202 422845
For a few years now, we have invited the Kaleidoscope Dancers down to the Quay to perform in the arena on the Sunday. Always colourful and always well supported, these girls and boys from the local area continue to entertain with a themed dance show, which this year is entitled A Garden Fantasy!
Girls and boys of all ages from 3 upwards show their love of dance and performing to the bustling crowds the congregate on the arena and these youngsters are a joy to watch!
Training at Ensbury Park, Parkstone and Mudeford, the Kaleidoscope Dancers can be seen visiting a variety of charity events and homes for the elderly during the year.
PDSA Dog Show
A dog show is always a big favourite with families, and with Christchurch is it no different!
This year, again helping to raise funds for the PDSA, the event will be hosted by Cindy Jerman and her colleagues who will judge the dogs as they perform for the crowds - or is that the owners performing for the crowds?!
